Black Besom – Large
Crafted with Natural Wood Handle, Natural and Black Broomcorn
Bring a piece of midnight enchantment with this beautiful custom broom. The inky color gives this broom a mystical feel. If you're trying to channel protective power or bring beauty to your space, this is a great choice. Perfect for the Nocturnal Witch.

This handcrafted, old world style broom is functional yet crafted for you, our magical Witch and Wizard friends. The broomcorn has been dyed with a non-toxic deep midnight color on the outside, with natural colored broomcorn on the inside of the besom. Each Witches Broom measures approximately 54 to 56 inches tall and weighs about 3 pounds. Natural wood branches; some straight, some curvy/crooked. Each is individually handmade and will vary slightly in size, color and weight. Easy to hang when not in use which will protect the broomcorn from bending damage.

About your Broom:
The broom sticks are harvested sustainably in Oregon with a local restoration program. The sticks then go into a kiln for drying. A band saw is used in a very unusual, creative way to shapes and sculpt your broom stick... many times you will see a wood spirit peering.
The best 100% broomcorn called "hurl" is used in creating each broom.
A broom winder, from an original machine in the 1800's is used to apply the broomcorn to the stick. Then a post Civil War era boom vice is used to flatten and sew the broomcorn. From the vice, the brooms go to the "Kick Winder" where platting the broom stalks is done. Once the broom is finished, it goes to the "cropper", another 1800's tool, to be trimmed to the desired shape, whether rounded, straight or angled.
Please note: If you would like a broom for Halloween/Samhain or a Yule gift, plan ahead - the Autumn months and Yule season are our busiest time for brooms and besoms.
Warning: Prolonged exposure to sunlight may fade the broomcorn over time.

USPS Priority Mail typically takes 2 - 3 business days, although the timeframe is not guaranteed by USPS.

For packages marked "delivered" by USPS, we trust your cooperation as we are unable to offer refunds under such circumstances.
Lost Packages:

We encourage you to double-check your shipping details before confirming your order as we cannot take responsibility for lost packages. No USPS refund is offered for a lost package.

For deliveries to less secure addresses with USPS, consider 'Signed Confirmation' or switch to UPS to enhance delivery security.
Shipping via UPS:

Our warehouse dispatches UPS shipments around 12 p.m. EST, with orders after 10 a.m. EST scheduled for the next business day.

Input your orders by 8:00 a.m. EST for UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3rd Day Select to ship the same day.

Note that UPS operates Monday through Friday and does not provide weekend delivery.

Delivery through Ground UPS can range from 3 to 7 business days. Street addresses are needed as UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
U.S. & International Packages Not Delivered

Specific Country Restrictions:
For customers in Greece, Brazil, and Australia, kindly note the prohibition on shipping knives and similar items due to customs regulations.
Signature Requirements:

A signature from the cardholder may be required if the billing and shipping addresses differ.

UPS and USPS may also request a signature based on the value and destination of the package.
If Packages Cannot Be Delivered:
Should your order be returned due to an incorrect address, unavailability, refusal, or being unclaimed:

You can opt to have the package resent. There will be a reshipping charge plus any return fees by UPS or USPS.

Alternatively, you can cancel the order for a refund. Please note, shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee (including any return fees) will be deducted from your refund.

There are no refunds for international orders that are returned or refused.
