Solomon, the King, was the second son of David and Bathsheba and the third King of Israel. He ruled around the 10th century BC. Traditions in Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic, and Ethiopic all hold that King Solomon was a Master Magician and that he had authority over all the Spirits as he had over all the Birds and the Beasts.
The Encircled Five Pointed Star known as the Pentagram, is one of the oldest and most potent of all Talismans. Sometimes known as the Shield of Solomon, it has been said that this symbol will protect the Seeker from all evil influences as well as preserve mankind from the machinations of evil spirits.
The five points of the star have come to represent many things:
