I was so excited when my athame came in, I unsheathed it and there was a sticky white residue in multiple spots all over the blade, and it's very difficult to get off. I tried to clean in for maybe 10-15 minutes and I gave up because it wasn't budging. I emailed the seller to get their advice but have not heard back yet.
