Description

This classic Claymore athame has an easy feel and a dignified look on any altar. The silver pommel and guard work perfectly with the black grip to create a well-crafted hilt. For those with a subtle, discerning taste, this athame has it all.

The black plastic handle makes this a lighter athame, easy to take with you on wanderings. Comes with a black plastic sheath for storage. The Claymore is 13.5 inches (34.2 cm) overall. The stainless steel un-sharpened blade measures 9 inches (22.8 cm).

This athame is quite nice and suits what I was looking for!
The blade is unsharpened, the edges are squared off as opposed to smooth and rounded.
The black parts of the handle are smooth and plastic, and it's a tad short for the width of my hand to hold perfectly, but it's not uncomfortable. The band in the middle is less bothersome than expected!
The sheath fits on smoothly, and you can see a little bit of the foam insert which makes sure the blade and sheath click together nicely.

I still think this is a nice, workable athame and suits what I was looking for without having to look for a high end custom made one, especially as I wanted something relatively cheap as I start out!
I could have used a kitchen knife but I find that having something special about my ritual tools helps me get in the witchy mindset ;)
